In this role you will ensure her comfort, safety and opportunities to enjoy the environment around her. The ideal candidate will have compassion, patience, and be reliable. We are looking for someone to provide care for days off of school, back up, snow days, and some after school hours. Staff would have to be mutually flexible. Respite Staff provide in-home respite care to individuals as outlined by their service plan and complete and submit monthly documentation representative of the service delivered. Respite staff set their own schedules and work with families to set up visits at a mutually agreeable time. Pay Rate: $17 per hour Location: Port Byron Reliable transportation is required. Background checks, fingerprinting, and DMV record checks will be conducted prior to hire by non-profit agency. Please respond with resume or summary of experience. Qualified Candidates Require: Knowledge of community resources and means of accessing these services. Valid NYS driver's license/dependable vehicle. Experience with special needs population preferred.
