Share Email Opening Title Dental Officer - 4069  Description Position Summary: The incumbent performs a full range of professional dental duties in connection with the treatment of commonly encountered dental diseases or health problems. Scope of Work: The position is located within the Tohono O’odham Nation Sells Hospital, and may be organizationally stationed at any of the locations within the Hospital service area. Incumbent works under the general supervision of the Chief of the Dental Branch.   Position Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of dentistry and licensure to practice as a dentist in Arizona. Licenses, Certifications, Special Requirements: License to practice dentistry in the State of Arizona Upon recommendation for hire a criminal background and fingerprint check is required to determine suitability for hire. Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license, (no DUIs or major traffic citations within the last three years). Must meet the Tohono O’odham Nation tribal employer’s insurance requirements to receive a driver’s permit to operate program vehicles. Based on the department’s needs, incumbents may be required to demonstrate fluency in both the Tohono O’odham Language and English as a condition of employment.   Location Sells   Open Date 11/18/2019   Close Date   About the Organization The Tohono O'odham Nation is a federally-recognized tribe that includes approximately 28,000 members occupying tribal lands in Southwestern Arizona.
