Responsibilities: The Security Representative will work under the guidance and direction of the STR Facility Security Officer. The assignments of the Security Representative are focused on administering a robust security program. They assist the FSO with implementing all requisite national security directives with specific emphasis on the NISPOM and exhibits the dedication and expectation of a seasoned security professional while working and making decisions independently without direct supervision. In addition, the Security Representative may work with STR legal and leadership to administer the foreign travel notification program which involves ITAR/SAP/DoD/DFARS requirements. The selected person should work as a team player, exhibit flexibility, sets priorities, and manage customer expectations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. They will interact with internal and external customers and/or Government security officials in performance of security duties and managing the front desk. Additional assignments include: physical security, information security, security education and awareness, document & media control, personnel security, data transfers, visitor control, maintain security files, handle & processing classified documents, and other security support activities as assigned by the Facility Security officer. Prepare and conduct Program Security Awareness Briefings, develop security plans, goals, and objectives to comply with existing directives and future requirements. Interpret and provide classification guidance to employees, participate in self-inspections as well as DCSA and CSA reviews, and investigate security incidents. Support other security related tasks as assigned by the Security Manager. Will work in a secured environment and may work extended hours and weekends. Local travel, as well as travel to Arlington or Dayton may be routinely required. Other travel may be required on a limited basis.   Position Requirements Qualifications: Exceptional administrative, organizational, and time management skills Active Secret security clearance or above preferred not required Be able to learn/engage in training for company and government security policies and apply them to operations Strong communications skills, both oral and written Commitment to security – innovating solutions to challenges and creating a unique approach to STR craftsmanship Self-starter with ability to work independently, collaboratively and customer service oriented Additional Qualifications: Experience in Industrial Security Knowledge of Access Control, Intrusion Detection Systems and Closed Area construction Knowledge of JPAS, eQIP, NISS, DOD SAP Manuals, SIMS Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree and experience working in Industrial Security STR seeks to provide an outstanding work environment for its employees with excellent benefits and competitive compensation.
