Il a pour principal mandat d'offrir un soutien de première ligne pour la production. Responsabilités : Assure une présence constante sur le plancher de production. Soutient les équipes de production dans la réalisation de leur mandat quotidien: mise à jour/amélioration des instructions et des méthodes de travail, optimisation des outils de travail, gestion des temps standards, etc. Fournit la formation et le support aux équipes de production quant au processus de fabrication et aux objectifs de qualité et de productivité au travail. Participe à l'optimisation, à l'amélioration et à la standardisation des processus internes et des méthodes de travail. Assiste aux rencontres de non-qualité MRB (Material Review Board) et gère certains dossiers prioritaires afin d'éliminer les causes racines de ces problèmes. Participe activement aux modifications de designs et analyse les changements proposés. Agit à titre d'agent de liaison entre les départements de conception de produits et la production. Assure le respect des procédures, processus, lois et normes en matière de santé, sécurité, environnement et qualité, et intégrer ces notions dans ses tâches et projets. Autres tâches ou projets connexes. ---- Job Description: Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Engineer, in close collaboration with the production, planning and engineering teams, contributes to the achievement of the plant's objectives. Its main mandate is to provide front-line support for production. Responsibilities: Ensure a presence on the production floor. Supports production teams in the fulfillment of their daily mandate: update / improve work methods and instructions, optimization of work tools, management of standard times, etc. Provides coaching and support to production teams on the process of manufacturing, quality and productivity of the work. Participates in the optimization, improvement and standardization of internal processes and working methods. Attend MRB meetings (Material Review Board) and manages certain priority issues in order to eliminate the root cause. Participates in design changes and analyses proposed changes. Acts as a liaison between Product Design and Production department. Ensures compliance with procedures, processes, laws and standards for health, safety, environment and quality, and integrates these concepts into their tasks and projects. Other tasks or related projects.   Position Requirements Exigences : Baccalauréat en génie manufacturier ou industriel, Être admissible à l’obtention du titre d’ingénieur ou d’ingénieur junior. Possède un minimum de 1 à 3 ans d’expérience dans un domaine manufacturier. Possède une connaissance des systèmes de planification des ressources ERP/MRP. Expérience en optimisation de processus opérationnels un atout. Bonne connaissance des outils et concepts du Lean Manufacturing (5S, Kanban, Kaizen, Travail en cellule, Flux tiré, etc.) Connaissance de procédure d’assemblage électronique et mécanique (un atout). Connaissance de standard de normalisation qualité tel que ISO 9001 ou AS 9100 Bonne connaissance de la suite Microsoft Office (Excel, Word…). Bilinguisme français/anglais autant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit. ------ Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or industrial engineering. Be eligible for the title of engineer or junior engineer. Has a minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing field. Be familiar with an ERP / MRP resources planning system or any similar system. Experience in operational process optimization. Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and concepts (5S, Kanban, Kaizen, Cellular Design, Pull Flow, etc.) Knowledge of quality standardization standards such as ISO 9001 or AS 9100. Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
