Share Email Opening Title Manufacturing Engineer (Cut/Sew/Wrap)  Description Evaluate design feasibility and work with cutting, sewing and wrapping feasibility for equipment and tooling Provide/generate specifications for equipment and tooling used for quoting and follow PVP4 process. Coordinate equipment installation at manufacturing sites for CSW equip/tools On call to existing manufacturing sites and support any issues that arise Provide/generate preventative maintenance and troubleshooting documentation for new equipment Work and communicate with manufacturing plants during program launch (prototype build & production start-up) and provide ongoing support as-needed during production life. Initiate and implement equipment improvements, cost savings ideas, etc. Manage scrap and ensure all equipment meets FTQ and OEE requirements Troubleshoot any mechanical issues and any program issues with responsible controls engineer at plant site Safety mindset     Position Requirements Required:   Bachelor’s degree and or minimum 5 years’ experience in equivalent similar field Creative problem solver Understanding of basing principles of mechanics CAD experience Manufacturing principles experience Hand tools and hands-on work experience Strong written and verbal skills Ability to travel domestically and internationally as necessary Microsoft Office proficiency: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project Preferred: Familiarity with industrial machines such as leather cutters, die presses, wrap assist fixtures, seam alignment fixtures, roller presses, 2d sewing machines, manual and robotic sewing machines   Education Requirement Associates Degree   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Shift -not applicable-   Location Inteva Products, LLC - World Headquarters and Troy Technical Center   Req Number ENG-19-00055   About the Organization Inteva Products is a leading global automotive supplier providing innovative, reliable, environmentally friendly products that enhance vehicle quality, safety and performance.
