We are seeking an Acquisition Policy Expert to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will:

  • Assist the PEO SHIPS review and approval of Annual and Quarterly Selected Acquisition Reports (SAR);
  • Assume responsibility for the Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES) Quarterly and Research, Development & Acquisition Information System (RDAIS) Quarterly/Monthly.
  • Provide Ad-Hoc Reporting.
 
Position Requirements

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, or a technical field.
  • 10 years of directly related experience in supporting DoD Acquisition legislation, policy and guidance, including direct NAVSEA Acquisition Documentation and briefing material being prepared for Major Decision Reviews and Gate Reviews.
  • Demonstrated experience with DoD acquisition systems and reports. Examples are: Selected Acquisition Reports (SAR), Quarterly and Monthly DAES Reports, and Quarterly and Monthly ASN (RD&A) Dashboard reporting.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Candidate must possess an active Secret security clearance.

 

Preferred Education, Skills and Experience:

  • DoD/DON procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process), knowledge of Navy Program Executive Office major acquisition programs.
