What You Would Be Doing

This position will work with the Manager of Customer Service and Access to ensure clients are welcomed to Boundless in an empathetic, professional, friendly, and efficient manner, all clients are treated with respect and dignity in all of their telephone and in person interactions with customer service staff and client records are maintained according to agency policy and procedures.

Essential Functions:

  • Answer multi-line phones and either direct the caller to the appropriate party or handle the caller's needs.
  • Greet clients upon arrival, check them in using an electronic records system, and obtain insurance information and any other necessary data.
  • Provide clients with intake and new client forms as well as copies of applicable policies and legally required documents.
  • Schedule appointments for recurring clients based on provider availability.
  • Provide patients with support and guidance as needed.
  • Collect and process client payments, as applicable, and follow all agency policies and procedures related to the handling of payments collected.
  • Verify the electronic record system is kept up to date by indicating the status of appointments and by noting applicable information in client records.

  • Provide clients with forms and information regarding the processes related to the release or exchange of records in coordination with other applicable departments or staff.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers of Boundless.
 
Position Requirements

Qualifications Experience and Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have demonstrated experience in customer service.
  • Prior experience in healthcare office settings preferred.
