This position consists of day-to-day administrative responsibilities as well as projects that involve player evaluation and acquisition, roster management, contract analysis, Major League rules, and transactions. In addition to a high volume of assignments initiated from various individuals across the department, this entry-level position provides an opportunity for the individual to explore areas of curiosity through self-originated projects. The duration of this role will depend on the timing of hire. Responsibilities: Managing daily tasks pertaining to industry market analysis, transactions, player evaluation, and daily reports. Ad hoc short and long-term projects. Subjective and objective analysis assigned by the Major League Operations staff. Various seasonal administrative tasks.   Position Requirements Currently enrolled in a degree seeking program or a graduate from an accredited college or university. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). Programming Skills (including SQL, R & Python, etc.) preferred but not required. College or professional baseball playing experience preferred but not required. General understanding of MLB rules and regulations.
