What are we looking for in a Director?

The Director of Lower Valley Services is responsible for all fiscal, administrative, clinical, and operational aspects of our services in the south eastern portions of Yakima County which includes our outpatient clinic in Sunnyside; Crossroads, our adult residential treatment facility; and Vista del Sol, a 12-unit HUD housing program serving individuals with disabilities. The Director will oversee staff and provide clinical supervision, develop and monitor the budget for the whole Lower Valley campus, and ensure that services provided are effective & accessible. When necessary, the Director may also participate in the provision of treatment services. To be successful in this role, the Director should be highly motivated with a strong clinical background, have exceptional interpersonal skills, and have a talent for leading and motivating others.

Director duties include:

  • managing staff levels, work assignments, and site processes to ensure efficient treatment delivery
  • providing clinical supervision to staff, which includes the assessment of clinical skills, giving constructive feedback, and offering training
  • providing therapy services to assigned caseload of clients
  • ensuring the delivery of appropriate, clinically-effective, and culturally-competent services across all programs and teams
  • monitoring the clinical effectiveness of site programs and participating in quality improvement & utilization management projects
  • representing Comprehensive Healthcare in the community
  • participating in strategic planning for Lower Valley Services and the agency
  • maintaining the budget to ensure fair & effective resource management
 
Position Requirements

Education & Experience: Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field. Six years of relevant clinical experience including the ability to treat all age groups, plus experience working with leadership boards, making presentations, and clinical programming. Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Professional Credentials: Independent licensure preferred -- LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT. Eligiblity for Agency Affiliated Counselor registration required.
