Summary This position assists with planning, organizing, and monitoring the distribution of goods, storage and distribution of items. This role works as the liaison between the shipping, sales and customer service departments. Communication between various levels of the organization is essential. This position will work on specialized sales projects during the shipping off season and other organizational developments as needed. This position is an entry level position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain detailed knowledge of and support/improve the current and future standard operating procedures (SOP's), 5S program, and safety procedures Assist with operations of a warehouse; receiving, stocking, processing and setting up orders for delivery Reading sales orders and pulling product from bin locations Assist in the loading of delivery vehicles Assists with periodic inventory Role model a positive attitude and good work ethic, be available for employees in your department with behavior and decisions that are consistent with FeraDyne’s policies and procedures. Cognitive Skills: Strong organizational skills Basic computer skills Physical Demands: Handle sharp cutting tools/objects safely Operate forklift and pallet jack with training Lift 25-50lbs. Push, pull objects up to 75 pounds (in a repetitive manner) Ability to work OT as required Shifts are from 8am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
