Share Email Opening Title Senior Buyer  Description Manage Inteva supply partners to meet and exceed critical business imperatives through effective supplier relationships Conduct a quality sourcing process with approved suppliers including preparing and issuing RFQs, commercial/business case preparation and presentation, and ability to drive teams to decisions that best support the company objectives Meet/exceed aggressive annual cost reduction targets Prepare annual spend forecasting for assigned commodities Support the development of comprehensive cross-functional commodity strategies Gather, organize, and present data/information in a clear and concise manner to support decision making Manage open ECRs (zero open performance baseline) within required time frame Resolve all pending/outstanding Cost Recoveries   Position Requirements 5+ years experience in automotive procurement Demonstrated knowledge of quality sourcing processes, terms and conditions, and resolution of outstanding supplier issues Analytical/data-based decision making skills Willingness to travel as required domestically and internationally, approx.10-15% Comfortable working with and organizing numbers and data Experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Experience working with Engineering and basic ability to read prints Experience applying/utilizing cost modeling to support/drive supplier negotiations and result Knowledge of injection molding and plastic part manufacturing preferred   Education Requirement Bachelors Degree in Business required.
