If you answered yes, Black Knight Security is seeking a full-time Controller/Senior Accountant for our Pittsburgh, PA offices in West End. In this position you will perform all accounting and office administrative functions using your strong work ethic and high attention to detail to help us handle the ever expanding accounting needs of a growing company. Responsibilities Include: Posting to general ledger. Monthly account reconciliation Processing payroll Handling A/P, A/R, and banking Producing monthly financial statements Financial budgeting and planning Managing employee personnel records – electronic and hard copy Employee benefits administration Processing personnel changes and new-hire paperwork Present company financials at monthly steering committee meetings Attending meetings on and off site   Position Requirements Required Experience/Skills: Have a B.S. degree in Accounting If no Accounting Degree, then have a Bachelor’s in Finance or Business with accounting courses. At least 10 years’ experience as an accountant Experience with labor relations/union environment Experience with accounting software Proficiency with MS Office products Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines Strong knowledge of complete accounting cycle Recent payroll processing experience Preferred Skills / Personal Attributes: MBA or CPA certification. A strong need for correctness. High conscientious.
