Customer Service responsibilities will include but are not limited toAbility to accept personal responsibility for resolving concernsExcellent work ethic and demonstrate the ability to act with purpose and urgencySafety of our customers, crew members and co-workersApply security measures as appropriate and protect SIDAPreparing and issuing tickets, computing fares, issuing refundsChecking passports and travel documentsCorrectly route passengers and baggage during check-inWorking at arrival or departure gatesEnsuring the on-time departures of aircraftAssist special need passengers including wheelchair servicesAnswering general travel inquiries, and successfully resolving customer issuesPrepare flight paperworkLoad and unload baggage, mail and cargoDirect aircraft to and from gatesPerform aircraft services such as lavatory, water, and de-icing (winter operations)Expeditious baggage delivery to baggage claimSort baggage in bag makeup areaOperate Jetbridge and Ground Service Equipment (GSE)Perform accurate aircraft searchClose counter and ramp areas following flight closing and complete flight statsCleaning and upkeep of all work areasSuccessfully complete any recurrent or required additional trainingPerform other duties assignedThis list is not all inclusive and a Customer Service Agent may be required to perform duties not identified in the above list
CUSTOMER SERVICE QUALIFICATIONS:Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorshipMinimum age 18, High school diploma or G.E.D. Additional education is a plusAbility to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Second language is a plusExcellent communication skills that include speaking to large groups and individual customersFamiliarity with computersAbility to work any available schedule to include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtimeAbility to work indoors and outdoors with strength and stamina to endure standing for entire and during inclement weatherAbility to lift 50 lbs up to 70 lbs occasional over your head with stamina to bend, stoop and crawl in confined spacesSuccessful completion of post-offer pre-employment DOT drug screeningSuccessful completion of FBI criminal history check that reveals no disqualifying felony convictions in 10 yearsAbility to provide 10 years of employment, education, unemployment history per FAR 108.33Must possess a valid driver's license Other RequirementsSight: Must be able to see well enough to read reportsHearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers, vendors and team members.Standing, walking, climbing. stooping, kneeling and lifting are requiredMust be willing to work in outdoor environment (heat and humidity, rain etc.)Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly and 75 lbs. with assistance.Must be able to type and use technical sources
