Job Description:
Support product problem resolution; root cause and debug activities for a variety of Interior trim components (IP trim, Door trim and consoles) at Inteva Operations and Customer locations.
- Participate in internal and external build events and meetings: provide feedback for product and/or process improvements.
- Establish effective communications (written and verbal) between customers, internal groups and suppliers.
- Support customer visits as needed with technical input.
- Work effectively in a team environment with a cross-functional team: design, tooling, CAE, quality, manufacturing, finance, purchasing, sales.
- Initiate CRs as required for engineering changes.
- Generate RFQ’s as needed to supply base.
- Support Internal PDT meetings and “design issue resolution” utilizing engineering tools.
- Generate and implement cost savings ideas.
- Will be responsible for component part product engineering deliverables: including EBoM updates and issuance of Change Requests.
- Assess impact of engineering changes on the product and provide feedback to the PDT.
- Participate in warranty improvement activities.
Job Qualifications
- Product Engineering experience with Interior Trim: minimum 3 years

- Creative problem solving skills & self-starting: Work effectively with others, high results orientation.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Ability to manage, coordinate and deliver multiple complex tasks.
- Microsoft Office proficiency: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project.
