A Marketing Manager at Tabula Rasa HealthCare (TRHC) is responsible for providing leadership and management of the TRHC Payer marketing unit in support of organizational business operations and services. This includes the development, creation, and oversight of a strategic marketing plan; as well as leading and participating in the creation of all promotional and marketing materials for the TRHC Payer marketing unit - specifically through graphic design and other creative mediums including digital media production and distribution. The incumbent in this position must possess experience in copywriting, art direction, graphic design, video production, social media management, and staff leadership with the ability to expand industry exposure and awareness of the organization.

A Marketing Manager works with administrative supervision and has discretion and independent judgment authority with respect to matters of significance in respect to the resolution of work problems involving departures from standard policies, interpretations, or procedures and within the scope of authority and responsibility for the position.

  • Develops, creates, implements, and oversees strategic marketing programs and activities, including but not limited to:
    • Establishes a sustainable and strategic approach to marketing and promotion of the TRHC Payer marketing unit that brings added value to business operations and industry awareness of TRHC successes and achievements.
      • Ensures that the marketing strategy is in line with and supports TRHC strategic objectives.
      • Responsible for ensuing quality brand management and corporate identity in print materials, video, and photography; as well as in online and social media platforms.
    • Develops and implements marketing plans that support payer programs and business operations of TRHC.
    • Leads and oversees the TRHC Payer marketing unit; generating impeccable marketing initiatives, promotional materials, and an excellent overall representation of TRHC business operations.
      • Oversees art direction, copywriting, and digital media development for the TRHC Payer marketing unit.
        • Leads and participates in graphic design and other creative initiatives for the marketing unit.
        • Oversees and participates in all phases of marketing unit processes including planning, design, creation, approval, production, distribution, and performance analysis of materials.
      • Directs and manages TRHC Payer marketing unit social media marketing strategy and activities; to include: LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Glassdoor, and other platforms.
        • Creates content regularly that enhances and grows TRHC's industry footprint, such as: press releases, divisional announcements, and communication of achievements all with administrative supervision.
    • Responsible for the effective management and oversight of the marketing budget with administrative supervision.
  • Participates in the development, planning and implementation of promotional events.
    • Collaborates with internal subject matter experts to increase marketing visibility.
    • Coordinates with vendors, event coordinators, and team members on event planning.
  • Analyzes and reports key metrics of website traffic and social media activity for executive level decision-making.
    • Monitors and reports on the effectiveness and outcomes of marketing communications.
  • Demonstrates excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills; including the ability to successfully influence, mentor, inspire and lead the marketing unit and its performance.
    • Maintains effective internal communications that ensures all relevant company divisions and staff are kept informed of current marketing objectives
  • Collaborates with the training unit in developing effective and professional training materials in print, video or multimedia formats.
  • Manages and supervises marketing divisional staff, activities, and functions.
    • Prioritizes and assigns work; coordinating, monitoring and supervising staff members by providing guidance and direction on the successful completion of assigned tasks, duties, and responsibilities that support the successful achievement of service goals and objectives.
    • Ensures that all staff members are properly trained; communicates with all staff members regarding individual and team performance.
    • Provides coaching and guidance to all assigned staff members related to performance management and evaluations, employee discipline, as well as problem and/or conflict resolution; provides decision recommendations as to the employment or retention status of staff members; participates in the recruitment, orientation, and training of marketing staff.
 
Position Requirements

EDUCATION:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a marketing, film and media arts, business administration, or a related field from an approved and accredited college or university.

EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of five (5) years’ progressive experience in a marketing or graphic design program with relevant experience related to this role; with at least three (3) years’ experience in a management, supervisory, or lead role.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

  • Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and projects, meeting deadlines and budget constraints in a dynamic business environment.
  • Advanced skills and understanding of computer software, specifically Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud (Acrobat Pro, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, etc.), and healthcare systems and programs.
  • Advanced skills and understanding in utilizing organizational systems, programs, and software.
  • Ability to communicate at effectively and professionally through written, verbal, and interpersonal skills as applied when interacting with employees, clients, or agency representatives; successfully conveying and exchanging information in a positive manner.
