You will participate in daily activities of the program, supervise the participants, and implement recreational activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide personal care to participants as needed. Work with other staff in a cooperative, team environment. Impart the agency’s philosophy of “Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence” to individuals, families, program staff and community resources. Maintain confidentiality of information relating to individuals and their families in accordance with agency policy. Adhere to the agency’s policies and procedures as well as department guidelines. Perform other duties at the discretion of the Program Director or his/her designee. Salary: $12.50/Hour Employment: Must be available Monday through Friday from 2:15 pm to 6:00 pm.   Position Requirements High school diploma or GED. Associates degree in Human Services or related field preferred. 1 year experience providing service to individuals with developmental disabilities. Candidate must have demonstrated ability to plan and organize daily activities of staff and participants. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Excellent leadership and motivational skills. Valid and clean NYS driver’s license required. Able to meet for bi-weekly supervisor meetings. Ability to meet all agency training requirements, including CPR and First Aid certifications.
