Share Email Opening Apply Now Title Resident Assistant   Position Resident Assistant   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time and/or Part-Time   Shift Various Shifts   Number of Openings 2   Location Laurel House   Open Date 3/15/2024   Close Date   Description Genesis Behavioral Services is currently recruiting for Full and Part Time Resident Assistants for all shifts to work at our 24-Hr Community Based Residential Facilities. Resident Assistants are responsible for maintaining oversight of participants in our designated CBRF program locations that work in collaboration with the Department of Corrections. Both Part and Full time opportunities are available during 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift, as well as weekends. RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitors residents on assigned shift. Intervenes in crisis situations, reporting to Program Coordinator in case of emergency. Documents and reports observations and pertinent information concerning client behaviors, attitudes and interactions in the communication log. Reports and monitors residential medications according to procedures. Communicates pertinent resident information to the appropriate clinical staff, families and referents when assigned. Answers phones, direct calls and take messages as assigned. Participates in scheduled staff meetings and in-service activities. Performs all duties according to the facilitys policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned by Program Coordinator.     Position Requirements REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. One (1) year experience working with correctional clients or in a criminal justice/social services setting OR completion of 24 credit hours of schooling in a criminal justice program or closely related human services program preferred. Good written and verbal communication skills. Must be willing to work every weekend if hired for weekend shift.   EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
