(PAI), one of the Twin Cities' leading providers of day services for developmentally disabled adults, seeks a strategic, creative, and detail-oriented manager to lead the Training and Program Development functions for our 100+ employee organization. Reporting to PAI's Vice President of Operations at our White Bear Lake headquarters, you will play a critical role in fulfilling the organization's mission by leading employee development and training initiatives as well as the development of innovative, engaging person-centered programs that help participants design a life they love. Specifically, your responsibilities will include: Training Serve as PAI's internal expert on Statute 245D requirements. Manage employee development activities, utilizing and modifying externally-developed curriculum. Schedule and deliver mandatory training. Ensure all required records are properly maintained. Develop and implement new employee onboarding activities. Collaborate with directors, Human Resources and operations to Proactively identify emerging service trends and applicable training topics Develop and deliver engaging effective programs in response to emerging service trends. Program Development Benchmark programming to participant desires, industry competitors, and state and county requirements. Collaborate with admissions, site directors, operations and community stakeholders to identify and explore development of new or expanded program areas, including for underserved populations. Create, highlight and proliferate ‘PAI branded' services, with a focus on those that will leverage PAI capabilities and expertise, and will position PAI as a provider of choice. Lead program improvement initiatives. Develop and implement a repeatable process for implementing new and improved program options.   Position Requirements Required Attributes and Skills A bachelor’s degree in social services or a related field. At least five years of relevant day training and habilitation experience. In-depth knowledge of Statute 245D requirements. Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high sense of urgency. Excellent project management skills. Exceptional oral and written communication skills Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
