Pay First Year Pay: $176/hour, monthly pay guarantee of 64 hours. Company paid training ($500/week + per diem).  


The Captain is at all times directly responsible for and the final authority as to the operation of the aircraft. Before a flight, the Captain shall be familiar with all necessary information concerning the flight. Duties shall include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Conducts every flight assignment with the highest regard to safety and efficiency.
  • Supervises and directs crewmembers to insure proper planning and flight preparation.
  • Ensures proper flight kit is aboard the aircraft, including appropriate airway charts, company manuals and forms.
  • Ensure that the preflight, inspection, loading, fueling and equipment of the airplane are correct for the flight assignment.
  • Verifies aircraft, passengers and/or cargo are loaded and distributed within prescribed limits for flight.
  • Ensures proper preparation and completion of flight logs, records and releases for each flight.
  • Briefs other crewmembers of the data that pertains to their assignments.
  • Operate all flights with strict adherence to company procedures, operations specifications and all applicable federal laws and regulations.
  • Ensure that a pre-flight including flight plan for proofing, weather, notams and crew briefing for routes to be flown is accomplished. If conditions exist, or are forecast to below minimum or hazardous, he/she shall inform Flight Control for determination of a mutually agreeable alternate route or appropriate action.
  • Restricts or suspends operations when conditions are known to be a hazard to safe operations until those conditions are corrected.
  • Perform the duties of the In-flight Security Coordinator and brief all crewmembers as to their responsibilities to ensure the security of the airplane.
  • Each Captain of an aircraft is responsible before, during and after a flight for the safety of other crewmembers, passengers, cargo and the aircraft. The Captain has full control and authority in the operation of the aircraft without limitation over the over crewmembers and duties during flight. The Captain may delegate functions to other personnel, but the Captain retains responsibility.

Position Requirements


  • Must be able to pass yearly physical examination and maintain a First Class Medical.
  • Valid state issued drivers' license with clear MVR with no major moving violations within the past 3 years.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with minimum experience of 6000 hours total time of which 2000 hours of PIC time
  • Must be able to pass a 10-year Background/Criminal check and pre-employment drug screen


  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Some college preferred


  • Must be able to obtain First Class Medical Certificate
  • Travel 100%
  • Lift up to 60 lbs


  • Able and willing to work in a culturally diverse atmosphere and professionally interact with passengers and crew under stressful conditions
  • Must be willing to work in a time-sensitive environment and effectively handle stress associated with meeting deadlines, and managing unexpected change
  • Capable of interpreting a variety of and multiple instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to communicate effectively so to be understood
  • Must be able to remain calm, think and react quickly in all types of emergency situations including but not limited to: medical emergencies, aircraft decompression, emergency evacuations, fires, security threats, passenger disturbances, turbulence, etc.
  • Able to process information quickly
  • Ability to complete routine forms, use existing form letters and/or conduct routine oral communication
  • Possess attention to detail
