POSITION SUMMARY: The Human Resources Director will work with the CHRO to strategically plan HR initiatives that will benefit the company and encourage more efficient and beneficial work from employees. The Human Resource Director will be directly responsible for and lead the organization as it relates to compensation, benefits, human resource data analytics, policy and process development, and training.

 
Position Requirements
  • Develops and implements HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Plans and organizes all activities of Compensation, Benefits and Training.
  • Implements and annually updates compensation program; rewrites job descriptions as necessary; conducts annual salary surveys; analyzes compensation.
  • Develops, recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures;
  • Performs benefits oversight to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, annual re-evaluation of policies for cost-effectiveness, information activities program and cash flow.
  • Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 annually; maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
  • Establishes and maintains department records and reports. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings, such as seminars.
  • Evaluates reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Assumes other duties as assigned by the CHRO.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources or business administration required.
  • Extensive education and experience in general business, organizational operations, and human resources required.

The Human Resource Director will be required to maintain an understanding of the following areas:

  • Benefits Administration
  • Compensation and Wage Structure
  • Employment Law
  • Organizational Development strategies and processes
