We are currently seeking a detail oriented & self-motivated Administrative Assistant for our Albany Office. This is a full time position with hours being Monday to Friday 8AM to 4:30PM.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Answer phone calls, emails, and voice mails pleasantly and expediently
Place various orders regarding displays, display updates and wood/carpet samples
Coordinate seminars, training programs, sales flyers, vendor returns, sales information, and vendor events for the branches
Run buying reports for every vendor on a weekly basis.
Update specials and inventory on a weekly basis
Update job quote log and email to appropriate parties on a monthly basis.
Create Flyers and Sell Sheets in order to email/fax to customers
Conduct display audits
Update pricelists timely and accurately
Process returns for vendors and for the branches.
Review monthly aging reports from warehouse managers and decide whether to pull moving-aging stock to sell out of the main warehouse or put on a specials list.
Run and compile reports using Radar, Dancik, Excel, Adobe reader for internal and external customers
Microsoft office: Excel, Word & Power Point
