Chief Financial Officer (CFO) 


Job Summary:

Under the leadership of the President, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) has accountability for directing the fiscal functions of Rennes Group in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and other regulatory and advisory organization. This position will be responsible for not only developing financial strategies to meet company sales and profit objectives, but also for building strong relationships and teams. It will be vital for this person to partner with the various facilities and key stakeholders to ensure all financial objectives, plans, initiatives, and activities are aligned to meet the goals of the overall organization in an industry that is continually changing. This role is critical to the execution of key business initiatives and will be part of the Executive team. This position will also have a financial partnership with the sister company, Peshtigo National Bank.

  • Leads, coaches, and mentors the Finance teams to meet and exceed business goals in a safe and compliant environment.
  • Promotes an environment that fosters creative thinking, problem solving, and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Demonstrates a commitment to our organization's mission of providing the best care possible to those residents who choose Rennes
  • Responsible for the overall financial operations of Rennes to include accounting, budgetary, audits, taxes, and other financial activities
  • Establishes short and long-term financial strategies to manage the complexities of the business within an appropriate level of risk
  • Conducts risk assessments on accounting and billing to ensure compliance
  • Advises from a financial perspective on any contracts into which the corporation may enter
  • Provides financial analysis and feasibility of future growth potentials as they may arise
  • Establishes financial plans for each line of business that reflects the expectations for financial performance. Reviews results on a routine basis to ensure that expectations are achieved.
  • Provides executive leadership with advice on the financial implications of business activities
  • Manages the cash flow of both billing and collections of services rendered by the organization
  • Understands the sources and use of cash and assets
  • Manages costs by continually seeking data that will identify opportunities and takes action to eliminate non-value costs in conjunction with the Executive Team
  • Collaborates with the Rennes Executive Team as well as other members of our Rennes Group Management Team to achieve Rennes objectives and optimize financial performance of our Rennes campuses.
Position Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in strategic leadership of business and/or financial functions
  • Demonstrated leadership skills necessary to foster performance behaviors that drive desired business results
  • Business acumen in the areas of strategic thinking, revenue enhancement, cash management, people management and development, financial management, and functioning in a highly regulated environment
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and change management skills
  • Unwavering commitment to ethical business practices and integrity
  • Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with other employees at all levels
  • Must be able to travel consistent with demands of the position

Preferred Job Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Business or Finance preferred
  • Experience in healthcare preferred
  • Previous CFO level experience preferred
  • CPA preferred
