Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties shall include but are not limited to the following:

  • At the direction of the Director/Manager of Operations Training and in coordination with the related departments, Inflight and Pilot groups assume responsibility for the coordination, scheduling, logistics management, and maintenance of electronic tracking systems related to Operations Training as assigned.
  • Assist the Director/Manager as directed in scheduling and positive scheduling confirmation of all training events, classrooms, personnel assets, transportation, lodging, and facilities required in the conduct of Flight Operations Training.
  • Assist with the notification of and interface with training personnel assets, students, supervisors, and managers of scheduled and forecast training events and requirements as directed.
  • Assist with designated functions of data entry, correction, modification, and continuing maintenance of specific training events scheduled and forecast, regarding the scheduling and conduct of all Flight Operations Training events, facilities, personnel, students, and other assets in the Airline Information Management System (AIMS).
  • As directed, assist with generation of specific, designated daily, monthly, weekly, and annual Flight Operations Training Status Reports as required to maintain the integrity of schedule and currency of affected employees through accurate manipulation of the AIMS interface.
  • Learn the administrative duties for Aerosim
  • Any duties as deemed necessary by the Supervisor, Manager or Director of Operations Training.
 
Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Part 121 training requirements a plus
  • Knowledge of OAI operations and manuals preferred
  • Highly organized self-starter
  • Experienced with all AIMS crew scheduling functions preferred
  • Must be able to pass a 10-year Background/Criminal check and pre-employment drug screen

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Aviation experience or education preferred

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY

  • Stand – 10%

  • Travel – 10%
  • Lift up to 40 lbs.

  • Requires ability to handle numerous activities at once and complete in a timely manner
  • Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision and possess an impeccable attention to detail
  • Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Gather and analyze information skillfully with significant detail
  • Ability to complete routine forms, use existing form letters, and/or conduct routine oral communication
