JOB SUMMARY: The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for all inventory within Dassault Falcon Jet - Wilmington and its subsidiaries. This position will ensure a high level of inventory accuracy and root cause analysis when it falls short. This includes stock, parts in staging, consignment, VMI, min/max, etc. This person will also track and communicate all cores incoming, in house, and coming due. They will ensure all cores are returned in a timely manner, to avoid financial loss through EUF's.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  1. Will monitor and adjust min/max levels accordingly
  2. Perform cycle count and spot check activities for ILG and its satellites
  3. Analyze stock discrepancies and drive to root cause
  4. Work with Materials personnel to ensure proper methods of ordering and put away, etc.
  5. Manage consignment so the right parts are available in each location, minimizing production delays
  6. Record and review return unused items and fees. The objective is to have all returns provided to the Stockroom quickly and reduce errors in ordering parts not needed.
  7. Other duties, as assigned
 
Position Requirements
  1. Associates degree in relevant subject matter or equivalent experience.
  2. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
  3. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures. Ability to present information or respond to questions from managers, customers or the public.
  4. Ability to gauge and research the priority of items in work and proactively communicate with leadership regarding status consistently and continuously.
  5. Ability to calculate figures, ability to define problems, collect data and draw valid conclusions.
  6. Proficiency in PC use and MS office suite, Corridor including Outlook and Excel.
  7. Purchasing or Supply Management certification preferred.
  8. High degree of ethics and integrity.
