Associate Account Manager

The Ascentis Account Management team is made up of driven sales professionals who came to Ascentis because they wanted something different than the big box experience. Reporting to the Manager of Account Management, the Associate Account Manager will be a key member of the team and the primary responsibility is to drive additional revenue in our well-established client base.

What are the general responsibilities of the position?

  • Serves as small account business owner and the primary point of contact, build long-term relationships, and drive additional revenue into a well-established client base.
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with customer stakeholders and C-level executives.
  • Analyze and add value to maximize customer’s overall Ascentis experience.
  • Responsible for customer retention and success, you play a critical role in overall achievement of organizational goals and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis.
  • Process transactional and simple solution sales and identify potential future opportunities that require dedicated account management.
  • Work alongside Account Managers and Senior Account Managers on complex sales and collaborate on strategy and training for career advancement within the team.

Position Requirements

What are we looking for in a candidate?

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Quantifiable track record of success in sales/account management; SaaS or HCM experience preferred
  • Relentless passion for success and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
  • Strong presence, and the ability to take control of a situation
  • Must be organized and efficient while working on multiple tasks
  • Ability to quarterback with a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Loyalty – the desire to commit to a rewarding career and an outstanding organization
