Description

As the Director of Sales, you will lead and develop a team of sales professionals selling Ascentis HCM software solutions into the East Region. Building on your past success of driving sales results and scaling SaaS sales teams, you will exemplify our cultural norms and directly impact the future growth of Ascentis.

What are the general responsibilities of the position?

  • Coach, motivate, and manage a team of Account Executives to improve individual results/quota and surpass overall team quota goals.
  • Identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiencies with processes, sales methodology, tools, product offerings, and employee development.
  • Use Salesforce to develop regular tracking & reporting of key performance metrics and translate these metrics into implications and recommendations.
  • Monitor success outcomes from each team member through the creation of recognition programs, dashboards, and leaderboards.
  • Work closely with Pre-Sales, Client Success, IT, etc., to deliver an unsurpassed client experience.
  • Attract, hire and onboard hard working creative problem solvers, who are mission driven and passionate.
 
Position Requirements

What are we looking for in a candidate?

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years managing sales teams in HCM or WFM highly preferred
  • 5+ years of on-quota, direct B2B sales experience in competitive markets
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately forecast sales results
  • Highly skilled in consultative, solution selling sales approach
  • Thrive in fast-paced, collaborative and ever-changing environments
  • Salesforce experience required
