Share Email Opening Title NAVAIR Acquisition & Logistics Program Manager  Description The Columbia Group, Inc. (TCG) is a small business engineering and financial management firm with a 50-year history of providing exceptional quality services to our Government clients. We support Navy clients across the acquisition lifecycle from design to logistics, test and evaluation, and modernizaation. TCG is a prime contractor at Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) headquarters, where we are growing our support to the Navy in the realm of aviation acquisition and logistics services. The NAVAIR Program Management Acceleration Team (PAT) and Aviation Ship Integration (ASI) are organizations under the PEO CS (Common and Commercial Systems). PAT/ASI is responsible for providing coordination of acquisition program management policies and processes through direct support to NAVAIR HQ Groups, Assistant Secretary of the Navy Staff, PEOs and other SYSCOMS. This opportunity encompasses acquisition program/project management, administrative, budget financial management, and/or corporate operations support services across all PEOs and PMAs. The person in this position will serve as Program Manager for a team of 12-18 full-time support staff collocated with the Navy client at Naval Air Station Patuxent River. This person will also serve as a Senior Program/Project/Management Analyst performing work on this effort. The person in this position performs program management tasks with accountability for cost, schedule, and performance. The person in this position applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project requirements, status, budget and schedules. This person performs management, technical, business case analyses, analyses of alternatives for potential problem solutions. This person collects, completes, organizes, and interprets data relating to acquisition projects. Additionall, this person performs industry scans for enabling technologies.   Position Requirements Requirements This position requires over 10 years of combined experience performing duties described in this description, with at least 7 of those years demonstrating experience collecting, completing, organizing and interpreting data relating to acquisition projects and performing industry scans for enabling technologies. This position requires an MA/MS degree in a technical discipline.
