Job Description

The Production Control Analyst is a member of the Supply Chain team. Reporting to the Master Production Scheduler, this position is responsible for processing several groups of data coming from Front End Processes like Engineering and Procurement with the purpose of maintain a timely flow of information to the ERP and other support tools. In addition, other administrative task will be assigned to this function to support Master Production Scheduling and other Supply Chain activities including but not limited to: Planning, Expediting and Material flow.

Main responsibilities:

  • Creation and Update of part numbers in the ERP
  • Processes Engineering Design Changes on MBOM
  • Processes Sub Assembly Changes Per Customer Contract
  • Ensures synchronization between Subassemblies in MBOM and Subassemblies in the ERP
  • Works with manufacturing engineers to make sure all changes are reflected in work instructions
  • Processes ECN and MOL orders to make sure the parts are correctly represented on the MBOM and in ERP
  • Supports actions to ensure MBOM is successfully uploaded to the ERP
  • Verifies item cards are properly coded
  • Produces ID signs for buses and bar coding sheets for the tracking system
  • Processes changes to RPO’s as needed (quantity, part number, etc.)
  • Consolidates weekly Inventory Reports
  • Pull parts as needed
  • Validate New Part Numbers in EPDM before updating ERP


  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (with emphasis in Excel)
  • Very detailed oriented and organized
  • Experience with ERP systems is preferred
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and concepts
  • Minimum 2-year technical associate degree in Manufacturing related field, Information Technology, or Supply Chain
