Description

Responsible for the analysis of inbound/outbound files, completion of data conversion specifications, review of agency profile and calendar information that affects automated processing of inbound/outbound files, and review of previously completed data conversion specifications against varying data sources. Ensure accurate and timely exchange of information with tax agencies for the benefit of LERETA's Customer's and their borrowers. Establish and maintain high quality relationships between LERETA and the tax collection community.

  • Control the timely acquisition of automated agency information files. Verify the integrity of each new file prior to its use within LERETA's system. Maintain CDA Tracking system to ensure timely order and processing of production files.
  • In coordination with operational goals, identify availability and procure data media, specifications and requirements from tax agencies for delinquency reporting, escrow reporting, mass pay support, lien index maintenance, and data integrity. Process jobs for all of the above as required.
  • Advanced ability to review and analyze files received from tax collection agencies, determine development/production status, create or rewrite data conversion specifications for files received within specified departmental requirements.
  • Ensure agency information profiles, including the Agency Header, Reporting Calendar and Agency/Customer Cross-Reference, are accurately and timely developed and maintained. Make certain agency survey questions are updated as necessary; support the survey team to ensure the returned information is interpreted, verified and distributed.
  • Ensure that all cross references needed are continuously updates to allow incoming and outgoing data files to flow in a timely and accurate manner through the cycle process.
 
Position Requirements

Proficient knowledge and ability to use PC based operating systems, Global 360 or similar workflow tool, Serena/PVCS/Dimensions or similar Change Management tool. Ability to use data analysis tools, applications, programs, and techniques to identify trends in diverse data types. Minimum 5 years of Tax Service experience or equivalent business/technical knowledge. Specific state processing expertise.
