Share Email Opening Title Mental Health Practitioner-Clinical Trainee-Lakes and Pines  Category Healthcare   Description POSITION PURPOSE: Therapeutic Services Agency, Inc seeks to employ a part time Mental Health Practitioner to assist with mental health consultations and assessments to assist in engaging adults in service provision to promote health, well-being, and housing stability. The person in this position will support staff at Lakes and Pines Community Action Council to implement grant funding from the MN DHS to optimize outcomes for persons participating in housing support services. This is an employment opportunity with TSA and the selected person will be assigned via contract between TSA and Lakes and Pines CAC to bring a lens of mental health to the work Lakes and Pine’s staff are doing with persons needing housing support. The work will be site based in the North Branch Lakes and Pines office and include home visits in the surrounding communities. This is a part time position (2 days a week) with potential for additional work assignment in other program(s) at TSA if fulltime employment is desired. TSA is an Equal Opportunity Employer   Position Requirements Minimum requirements as a Mental Health Practitioner (Bachelor's degree plus 2,000 hours of supervised practice) or a master's degree enrollment or graduate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Community Counseling or related field. Preferred requirements of Bachelor’s degree and/or enrolled in a Master’s program in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling or related field. Knowledge base about adult mental health, mental health problems, chemical dependency, poverty; and professional collaboration skills are valued for this position. Optimal candidate will be a Clinical Trainee (on track for licensure in MN) and have competencies in conducting Diagnostic Assessments. Criminal background check upon start date.
