GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Performs skilled duties in Home Maintenance Services division including winterization and home repair; coordinates the work of a work crew; work is performed in the shop and the field; work is coordinated by the Weatherization Pre-Inspection/Field Coordinator and under the supervision of the Home Maintenance Services Assistant Director; performs related duties as required.
STATEMENT OF TASKS:
Coordinates a work crew performing tasks such as carpentry, woodworking, painting, home insulation, etc. as well as a work crew performing less skilled tasks (i.e lawn care, trash removal, window repair, general maintenance duties etc.);
Ensures compliance with the established policies on the safe use of County vehicles and equipment;
Ensures tools and material inventory are maintained and utilized in a safe manner;
Responsible for the cleanliness of work areas and vehicles;
Ensures that the loading and unloading of vehicles is accomplished in a safe area;
Required to participate in all necessary employee job trainings.
