The Columbia Group (TCG), a technical services support company which has a successful 50+ year history of providing the United States Military with acquisition, logistics management, engineering, design, fabrication, test and evaluation, information technology and financial management support services is seeking a Sr. Systems Analyst.

The individual in this role will:

  • Provide direct Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) system engineering and integration support for the Amphibious Warfare Program Office (PMS377).
  • Track and Coordinate the integration of C5ISR systems in new construction LHA(R) class ships.
  • Provide rapid response to emergent engineering and integration issues for the PMS377 C5ISR Integration Manager.
  • Track the C5ISR Software Baseline for LHA 7 and LHA 8 and established the C5ISR baseline configuration for LHA 8 in the Afloat Master Planning System (AMPS) at delivery for use by the Fleet Commanders.
  • Provide Risk Management support by identifying, tracking and assisting in mitigating identified C5ISR integration risks.
  • Participate in the Integrated Combat System (ICS), Configuration Control Board (CCB), reviewing all Ship Change Documents (SCD) being presented to the board to identify all changes that may have Amphibious Assault Ship (LHA/LHD) impact.
 
Position Requirements

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering OR the Physical sciences
  • Five (5) years of experience in ISR systems integration and/or analysis
  • Ability to apply comprehensive knowledge of engineering practices and techniques to complex situations and non-routine tasks
  • Strong proficiency in speaking and writing in English; ability to interact and present technical information verbally and in writing (reports, specifications, drawing, etc) to internal and external customers and senior management.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.

Preferred Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Degree from an ABET accredited program
  • Familiarity with US Navy, USCG and/or commercial ship design rules and regulations
  • Proficiency in AUTOCAD software
