The Program Manager drives all aspects of a customer program within MME's fast paced high energy environment as it moves from design & development through the production process by leading a project team and maintaining all internal and external communications to meet the customer's requirements & deadlines. The Program Managers assure customer satisfaction through project leadership, ongoing communication, timely shipping and continuous follow-up.

  • Lead New Product Development initiatives from design, into development, then through production with little to no supervision
  • Establish the overall project schedule and identifies needed resources with input from Sales, Engineering, Operations, Tooling and Purchasing
  • Understand the full project scope, identify when scope drift occurs and communicate how the change will impact the customer
  • Identify road-blocks and works to provide solutions to keep the projects on track and on time.
  • Coordinate and monitor the scheduling, pricing and technical performance assigned to the programs
  • Identify and manages risk/opportunities to meet program objectives
  • Hold all project team members accountable to meeting project goals and timelines
  • Track project performance to schedule and budget and provides regular updates to project team, leadership and customer.
  • Track customer information, such as the status of stock and purchase orders.
  • Maintain profitability during development through production by driving budgets from conception of projects to completion. This includes taking ownership of Working Cost Models from program release till production.
  • Ensure all Development and production Orders and Jobs set up in Epicor allows for proper Job Costing to be monitored throughout the program.
  • Track and log weekly SFLH (Support Function Labor Hours)
  • Handle troubleshooting of issues and communicates needs for customers. When conflict becomes a roadblock, Program Management must know what it is appropriate to get advice and direction from Sr Management
  • Responds within 24hrs to customers' requests via telephone, email or mail.
 
Position Requirements
  • 4 Year Business or Technical degree with 2+ years of Program Management/Project Engineer related experience in a Technical/Manufacturing industry
  • Program Management certification preferred
  • Excellent organizational and decision-making skills and the ability to be self-motivated
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint as well as ERP systems. Video Conferencing, presentation software (preferably in Microsoft Suite) and CAD experience would be a plus
  • A collaborative workstyle with the ability to anticipate the Customer’s needs as you grow and develop key relationships
  • Knowledge of medical devices, telecomm, automotive or electronics product development preferred.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent combination of influencing and negotiating skills to be able to meet both MME Group and our Customers needs with the drive to grow our business

  • The ability to be the voice of the Customer while having the and wisdom to maintain strong customer relations during all types of circumstances
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and product life cycles.
  • Strong self-discipline in time management. Ability to manage multiple priorities and carry them to timely completion.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs unaided, will require some walking, stair climbing and regular movement within the office/shop areas.
  • Valid Identification and the ability to legally work in the United States.
