Description

Tuknik Government Services is seeking a Charge Card Program System Support Analyst to work with our Federal client in the Washington, DC area. This is a direct, full time position supporting TGS and our government client.

The Charge Card Program System Support Analyst, you will work as a member of our engagement team providing the day to day support for a government program.

Duties of the Procurement/Financial Assistance Analyst include the following:

  • Provide support to users of the servicing bank’s electronic access system, Financial and Business Management System, and other charge card related systems such as OTCnet, Secure Transport and PaymentNet.
  • Create spreadsheets to assist in tracking projects for the National Charge Card Program Office.
  • Create reports and mail merge tracking spreadsheets to ensure notifications go out timely to cardholders and approving officials from the NPS Charge Card Program Manager or Senior Program Analyst.
  • Comparison of spreadsheet requests to the bank electronic access system to ensure accuracy and timeliness are met; may also be required to update and correct information, while notifying the person who created the request for action with the document.
  • Attend meetings and bring any issues to the attention of the NPS Charge Card Program Manager that may have an impact on NPS charge card policy.
  • Assists in NPS prevention of fraud, waste and abuse associated with the charge card program; analyses exception and delinquency reports for misuse and completes spreadsheet for action for Program Analyst action.
  • Provides supports to NPS Charge Card Program Manager with building and maintaining the NPS Charge Card Program Google Site, ensuring all information is up to date and accessible to all users.
  • Creates spreadsheets to assist in tracking Departmental and NPS mandated deadlines.
  • Creates a spreadsheet to track and reconcile funds received through fuel tax refund program to ensure balance between submitted documents and received checks.
 
Position Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma with two years of related experience
  • Ability to work well within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Federal consulting preferred.
  • Genuine desire to learn is essential.
  • Be proficient at Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Google based email (G-mail) as well as Outlook.

Working Environment & Conditions

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The work load may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
