Cranfield Academy is seeking a Lead TK Teacher

Position summary:

The Lead TK Teacher will implement curriculum in a safe, healthy and nurturing classroom environment that supports each child’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth and development.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate classroom activities.
  • Create engaging, age-appropriate lessons using provided curriculum.
  • Establish classroom management utilizing positive coaching.
  • Design and maintain a learning environment that is inspiring and is conducive to the optimal growth and development.
  • Encourage and assist in positive social interactions.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of children’s’ progress and development.
  • Ensure safety and well-being of children at all times.

Experience and Education:

  • AA Degree or Higher in Early Childhood Education or related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Prior experience with 2 – 5 year old’s.
  • Experience working in a certified child development center.
  • Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation.
  • Working knowledge of curriculum development.
