Bolton & Menk has a great opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our Maplewood team! This position offers the opportunity for you to join a well-established firm with a long history of superior service and a highly motivated team. What You Will Do: As a Civil Project Engineer, you will be working with a team of Engineers, Planners, and Technicians and have responsibility for performing and coordinating the design and preparation of construction documents for a variety of projects, along with construction administration and observation. This role will have a focus on our municipal market. What We Are Looking For: We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated and able to apply engineering knowledge to a variety of projects. We strongly believe in providing our clients with the best service which means we are looking for candidates who demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and staff. - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Minnesota
- Ideally candidates will have 3+ years' progressive experience in the civil engineering field and must include working with municipal infrastructure improvements
- Experience in plan development and construction contract administration
- Candidates must demonstrate ability to lead the project design and preparation of construction documents in a team environment
- Ideally candidates will have project delivery experience working directly with municipal clients
Preferred skills: - AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency
- Knowledge of MnDOT requirements
- MnDOT Certifications applicable to field activities
- Experience with municipal and public contact and involvement with presentations
