The Southwest Region of Canine Companions was founded in 1986. We serve Arizona, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Southern California, Southern Nevada and Hawaii. The Southwest Regional Training Center is named the Dean, Gerda and Trixie Koontz Campus after our campus benefactors: bestselling author Dean Koontz, his wife and their late Golden Retriever adopted from Canine Companions after being retired from service.
M-F, approximately 9-5.
This position is responsible for the successful launch, maintenance, growth and reporting of strategic projects within the Technology & Information Systems department. Position is responsible for proactively building relationships across functional areas to ensure project success, shareholder satisfaction, and growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed:
EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of demonstrated success in project management using recognized PMI methodologies.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
LICENSES: CAPM and/or PMP certification is preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS: General office conditions apply. The noise level in work environment is usually quiet to moderate. Some travel and weekend work required.
