The Northeast Region of Canine Companions for Independence was founded in 1989 and was located on the SUNY Farmingdale Campus in Farmingdale, NY. The Northeast Region serves New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, Eastern Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, West Virginia, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.
M-F, approximately 9-5.
This position is responsible for the successful launch, maintenance, growth and reporting of strategic projects within the Technology & Information Systems department. Position is responsible for proactively building relationships across functional areas to ensure project success, shareholder satisfaction, and growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed:
EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of demonstrated success in project management using recognized PMI methodologies.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
LICENSES: CAPM and/or PMP certification is preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS: General office conditions apply. The noise level in work environment is usually quiet to moderate. Some travel and weekend work required.
