Description

The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible forassisting the with all aspect of Human Resources support to theagency under the direction of the Sr. VP, Human Resources. Otherduties include but are not limited to processing human resources entries intothe Payroll/HR platform, timely enrollment and dis-enrollment of employees inthe employee health and wellness plans, assist with processing leaves of absence, and worker’s compensation.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-datehuman resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Answers frequently asked questionsfrom applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiringprocesses, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
  • Maintains the integrity andconfidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR filesand records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Conduct Exit Interviews.
  • Provides administrative support tothe HR department.
  • Acts as a liaison between theorganization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may includehealth, disability, and retirement plan providers.
  • Conducts or assists with new hireorientation.
  • Assists with planning and executionof special events such as benefits enrollment, organization- wide meetings, and employeerecognition events,
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
 
Position Requirements
  • Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of HR experience
  • Experience working in a non-profit sector
