Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Technician to join our RSI crisis stabilization team on a PRN basis. The Mental Health Technician position is the first point of contact for the clients and the families of the clients. This position will also assist in the coordination and care of clients seeking behavioral health services.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Answer phones and accurately documents information from caller and route calls to appropriate party within the organization.
  • Will conduct the initial intake and assist with the assessment to ensure that an initial treatment plan is developed that will help identify the services needed for client care.
  • Provides orientation to program and services and register clients in the client database.
  • Maintains documentation of client services, ensuring compliance with Agency standards.
  • Performs outreach with clients/families, via phone, to help engage clients and families
 
Position Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma.
  • Available to accept at least one shift per month, as needed.
  • Experience in a Behavioral Health Care setting
  • Ability to facilitate planning meetings with individuals from multiple systems.
  • Ability to interact positively with staff and clients and maintain a professional and pleasant demeanor at all times.
  • Experience / knowledge working in an Electronic Medical Record.
 
Full-Time/Part-Time PRN  
Shift Various Shifts  
Hours PRN - Hours vary based on need  
Pay Range $14 and shift diff per shift worked
