Director of M&A and Licensing 

Description

Essential functions of the position include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • The preferred candidate will have a proven track record selling in the Aerospace and Defense aftermarket space and possess an in-depth knowledge of the licensing model necessary to capture new business in the manufacturing niche.
  • Evaluates and manages new and existing strategic business initiatives, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances and/or joint ventures.
  • Analyses market trends, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs.
  • Provides leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of strategic business objectives.
  • Defines strategies and tactics for new business pursuits and leads due diligence activities associated with closing transactions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline required; Graduate degree in business discipline preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive Business Development/M&A experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience/exposure to “C” Suite professional required, ability to successfully interact with all levels to ensure successful execution of business model requirements
  • Demonstrated successful track record of prospecting and closing new business
  • Highly computer proficient, including advanced capabilities with PowerPoint, Excel and Word, ERP systems experience is preferred
  • Domestic and international travel will be required ~50%
