HR Administrator 

About the Organization Proton Dealership IT provides a fully outsourced IT department tailored specifically to automotive retail. Our dealership specific experience gives us a unique insight that enables us to introduce and manage the most effective IT systems for dealerships.  

Proton Technologies, Inc. is a third-party IT services company that provides IT support and amazing customer service to over 200 auto-dealership clients across the country. We prioritize client relationships and enjoy the personal level of attention we give them. We are not the normal "ticket, ticket, ticket" IT support shop. Proton likes to keep the stress level low, the fun level high, and the quality of life excellent for our team. IT Support is a commodity, AMAZING service is not! 

Currently, Proton has an immediate opening for a Full Time HR Administrator to join our Headquarters team in Raleigh, NC. Under the direction of the Corporate Administrator, the HR Administrator is  responsible for executing full-cycle recruiting and onboarding processes for all job requisitions and new hires. Through both virtual and in-person communication with employees and candidates, the HR Administrator must maintain a high level of professionalism and have a passion for problem-solving.  

Position Requirements

Primary Responsibilities of the HR Administrator:

  • Proactively source candidate resumes for a variety of open job requisitions, both local and remote locations.
  • Update applicant information, statuses, and profiles within our HRIS system.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and the Hiring Managers.  
  • Serve as the main point of contact with orientation training and new hire processes while preparing materials, contacting participants, reserving interview rooms, etc.
  • Market for open job requisitions through social media networking and company outreach tactics.
  • Create confidential offer letters, change letters, and other official Proton required documents.
  • Update applicant information, statuses, and profiles within our HRIS system.
  • Coordinate company wide events with assistance from the executive team on an as-needed basis.


Essential Qualifications: 

  • 1-3 years of related experience in HR/Recruiting preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or similar is preferred. 
  • Thorough understanding of Microsoft 365 and GSuite.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS softwares. 
  • Experience with Paychex Flex and LinkedIn Recruiter is preferred.
  • Ability to maintain company-wide and candidate confidentiality.
  • Experience in all areas of HR including onboarding, offboarding, document control, employee engagement, recruiting, etc.
