Description

As a Presales Technical Architect, you will be responsible for the translation of business and technical requirements into solution sales that are consistent with AdvizeX strategic business focus. By applying technical acumen, relationship development, and consultative selling skills, you are charged with driving sales and services in the assigned territory by objectively addressing customer needs in an effort to become their trusted advisor.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Align with appropriate sales geography to represent Rolta AdvizeX Solutions
  • Use knowledge of technology, products, processes, industry expertise and consultative sales skills to assess and educate customers on value of AdvizeX solutions.
  • Use knowledge and understanding of AdvizeX's OEM partners, such as VMWare, Dell EMC, and HPE, along with other relevant technologies to credibly and persuasively articulate the features and benefits of these products to the customer
  • Build in-depth knowledge of clients' technical and business priorities, challenges and initiatives that can be translated into Rolta AdvizeX solution opportunities
  • Act as the technical lead on complex proposals; conduct final review, edit proposals and approve technical content
  • Determine how industry trends, OEM roadmaps, and advances in technology may impact the customer
  • Develop successful relationships with Rolta AdvizeX sales team, partners and customers.
  • Deliver quality documentation to support pre-sales efforts, including solution Bill of Materials, Configurations, and Proposals.
  • Develop and propose technology solutions that meet customers' needs and functional requirements and are in alignment with Rolta AdvizeX customer strategy, delivery capabilities, and OEM partner relationships.
  • Be available for some travel, typically 20% of time or less, and typically limited to short-duration trips for customer appointments and longer trips for training and/or conferences.

  • Server virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere)
  • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure solutions (VMware Horizon View)
  • Hyper-Converged Infrastructure solutions (VMware vSAN and vCloud Foundation, Dell EMC VxRail and VxRack, HPE Simplivity)
  • Hybrid Cloud Management solutions (VMware vRealize Suite, vRealize Automation)

Optional

  • Data Protection expertise, including Backup/Restore, Replication, Archiving (Dell EMC, HPE, VEEAM, Rubrik)
  • General Storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, FibreChannel, iSCSI, traditional vs. All-flash (Dell EMC, HPE, Infinidat)
  • Virtual Networking Solutions (VMware NSX)
  • Networking Security Solutions (Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, CheckPoint, Cisco)
  • LAN, WAN, Wireless Solutions (Cisco, Arista, Aruba)
  • DevOps Solutions (Docker, Kubernetes, Puppet)
  • Public Cloud Solutions including Hybrid Cloud integration (AWS, Azure)

General Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years pre-sales/technical experience
  • Experience with OEM Partner Configuration and Quoting tools (HPE One Config Advanced, Dell EMC MyQuotes, Cisco Commerce Workspace (“CCW”))
  • Strong communication skills, including as timely and clear email, phone, or text messages.
  • Ability to work effectively within Rolta AdvizeX, OEM partner, and customer teams.
  • Ability to present technical content to various roles, ranging from System Administrators to C-level leadership.
  • Solid written skills, including the proper use of grammar and punctuation to complete professional documentation.
  • Interpersonal skills to develop rapport with customer and OEM partner technical personnel.
  • Professional presentation and behavior, including time management, punctuality, and meeting or exceeding customer expectations for dress.
