Site Reliability Engineer 


We're looking for a driven and organized DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer to help guide our teams in delivering the very best digital services for RenPSG customers. The DevOps engineer will act as our authority on implementing DevOps methodologies, building tools and services to allow application teams and others to self-service, and drive cross-team communications to ensure we ship stable and performant services. Our ideal Infrastructure Engineer wants their work to make a difference and cares deeply about the process of building products, the organization and cohesiveness of a product and team.


  • Collaborate across teams to consolidate and simplify DevOps tools and services, then support other infrastructure engineers using them in production
  • Build libraries, modules, and packages for other infrastructure engineers to integrate with their projects
  • Develop Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes to help deliver software of higher quality at greater speed
  • Work closely with our internal partners and app teams to ensure that we are shipping software that meets security, SLA, and performance requirements
  • Solve problems in ways that drive towards simplicity of architecture and operations
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3-4 years’ experience with DevOps engineering or software engineering
  • Experience with an OOP language such as Java or C#
  • Comfortable with development concepts and designs
  • Fluent with DevOps tools and practices which drive the Infrastructure as Code mindset
  • Consensus building through teamwork and collaboration
  • Inquisitive and dedicated to improving our processes and producing excellent, high quality solutions for our customers
  • Meticulous in their interactions with mission critical, production systems
  • 3+ years of experience coding or operating production systems
  • Experience automating infrastructure, testing, or deployments of a web-based application with tools like Ansible, Chef
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting solutions like PagerDuty, New Relic, or CloudWatch, Application Insights
  • Azure certification a plus
  • Comfortable with Windows and Linux administration
  • Experience with web servers such as IIS, NGINX and Apache
  • Experience with Oracle server administration is a plus
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as:
    • Source control (Github) and feature branching strategies
    • CI/CD tools (Azure Devops, TeamCity, etc.)
    • Infrastructure as Code frameworks (Azure Resource Manager, Terraform, etc.)
    • Configuration Management (Puppet)
    • Scripting and programming languages (Powershell, Bash, etc.)
    • Application Performance Monitoring (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, etc.)
    • Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
    • Jira and Confluence
  • Automation of applications through RESTful API
