The overriding business objective for the Electrical Engineer 2 within the Product Support organization will be to provide electrical engineering support in the design, development, production, and customer support of APC power electronics systems. The key performance objectives for this position are described below.


  • Provide Electrical Engineering Support for Sustaining Product Support. The successful Electrical Engineer will leverage their education and experience to support the design and production of new technology electrical power systems. The Engineer will perform integral troubleshooting of internal and external customer product issues including but not limited to: design, analysis, testing, documentation, and production required while supporting and launching new and sustaining products. The successful Electrical Engineer has the skills to understand the design of AC-DC, DC-DC, DC-AC power conversion systems, motor control, magnetics design, PCB layout, EMI filtering, and power distribution systems. The Electrical Engineer will provide technical support production to ensure functionality, on time development, and delivery. Support of aircraft installations and field issues as needed. We are looking for high performance engineers with a desire to learn and support power system products. The expectation is that within 3 months of hire, the Electrical Engineer 2 will be contributing to the successful entry into service of an aircraft power product. Within 12 months, the expectation is that that the engineer will be fully capable of responding and analyzing complex technical support issues of new and sustaining products.

This position may require knowledge of SOX / 404 internal audit controls and related documentation.



Requires bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and at least 2 years related experience.


Must be a US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible.
