Our Team:

The Infrastructure - Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for the installation, configuration, implementation, and administration of various technologies supporting multiple sites, including datacenters, throughout the US. This person will focus on the administration of enterprise wide systems to include, but not limited to, datacenters, servers, SANs, VoIP, workstations, domains, e-mail and various software applications.

This position requires excellent customer service, organizational and time management skills in order to successfully delivery projects and support companywide systems. Ability to multitask and deliver objectives in a professional and timely manner is critical. This position requires the ability to function successfully in both team and independent work environments. Ability to respond to issues with the needed urgency is also critical.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage Physical, Virtual Server, SAN and network environments
  • Support print servers, network printers, Active Directory, antivirus, SQL clusters, mobile devices, APs, single sign-on, DNS, e-mail, archives, Disaster Recovery, replication, backups, ServiceNow, SAP
  • Maintains server/application and network performance by performing server/application and network monitoring, analysis and performance tuning; troubleshooting server/application problems; escalating problems to vendor
  • Maintain full systems & network documentation
  • Maintain inventory of all enterprise systems, applications and networks
  • Ensure Infrastructure Systems & networking tickets are resolved within defined SLA
  • Server and Network Infrastructure Change Management process
  • Workstation, Server and network patching
  • Maintain 99.9% uptime on all Enterprise Infrastructure systems and networks

Other related to IT Organization:

(Not limited to)

  • Provide L3 support to our Help Desk Shared Service team and/or users with computer/systems related issues that could arise from various locations (remote and local) in person, via phone, IT ticket submission and/or e-mail
  • Provide project management support for IT related projects
  • Assist in defining IT Infrastructure standards and procedures
  • Ensure IT policies are adhered to.

What you bring to the team:

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent work experience
  • Four (4) years full time experience providing infrastructure systems administration
  • Three (3) years' experience systems installation, troubleshooting, implementation and configuration
  • Demonstrated ability to independently and effectively complete assignments and projects in a timely fashion
  • Demonstrated experience administrating Office365 environments (AD integrated)
  • Two (2) years scripting in an Office365 environment
  • Four (4) year supporting & troubleshooting Active Directory and GPOs
  • Three (3) years Cisco Layer 3 experience
  • Two (2) years Cisco ASA experience
  • Networking concepts, DNS, DHCP, remote access, VLANs, Wireless, server lockdown, server performance tuning, server monitoring
  • Windows Server 2008, 2012 R2, software deployment, remote administration
  • Experienced with GPOs, Active Directory administration and domain consolidation/migration, distributed OS patching
  • Virtualization design and administration (VMware)
  • IT documentation fundamentals
  • IT project management
  • MS Office 365 administration and scripting

Preferred Experience:

  • MCSE Certification - recent
  • CCNA Certification - recent
  • VM Ware (VCP 5 or 6) Certification
  • Office 365
