Position Administrative Assistant-Lawrence  


Under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager and Field Supervisors this position provides administrative support for the Supervisor team at out Lawrence, MA location. In addition to typing, filing and scheduling, performs duties such as pulling work permits, weekly timecards, obtaining supplies, and working on special projects directed by the Supervisors or Manager.

The Administrative Assistant will work with a diverse group of important external customers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload, recommends changes in office practices or procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and update daily crew reports
  • Liaise with supervisors and managers and assist however necessary
  • Update calendar on a daily basis and keep track of and report absentees (monitor sick and vacation time)
  • Ensure city permits are up-to date and extend when necessary
  • Assist with pulling permits both online and on paper
  • Making spreadsheets to organize if each service we do has a permit, if the permits been paid, if we received payment for that permit, and if the permit has had an inspection. These will need to be updated daily.
  • Work closely with various departments throughout the company such as HR, Safety, Training and Payroll to ensure crews get all the answers they need

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
  • MS Office experience
  • Office administrative experience is a plus

Hours: 6:30AM until 3PM
