Share Email Opening Title Electrical Engineer 3 (2019-112)  Astronics Subsidiary AES   Location Kirkland, WA   Description JOB SUMMARY Electrical Engineer 3 performs the engineering development and associated support of contracted programs, Bid and Proposals and Internal Research and Development activities. Assists in new business development and follow on activities. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Independently applies a high degree of creative ability, engineering skill and judgment in applying engineering principles. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS May lead projects and be responsible for their overall planning and performance schedule. Perform the conceptual and detail design of analog or digital circuits. Coordinate, prepare, and review technical drawings, documents and data items. Review, prepare designs, analyze, and test data to insure their accuracy and appropriateness. Operate standard lab equipment to perform design verification and circuit testing. Coordinate, organize, and participate in analysis, design, development and qualifications as assigned. Prepare and present technical information at design reviews. Act as technical liaison to offer functional groups as required. Interface with customer technical personnel. Shows proficiency in engineering software tool use Perform other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or other related bachelor’s degree required from a four-year college or university. Five years related experience. Experience with: Leading projects and being responsible for overall planning and schedule Performing conceptual and detail design of analog or digital circuits Coordinating, preparing & reviewing technical drawings, documents and data items Reviewing, preparing designs, analyzing and testing data to insure the accuracy Operating standard lab equipment to perform design verification and circuit testing Analyzing, designing, development and qualifications Preparing and presenting technical information Interacting with customers ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS Must be a US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible.
