Primary responsibilities are to assist adult attendees through their Washington DC experience, and coach and develop WLC facilitators in their facilitation and when necessary discipline conference participants. Responsibilities to adult attendees include providing conference expectations, providing counsel, addressing concerns and acting as a tour leader, Responsibilities to facilitators include coaching on their delivery of sessions, providing advice on change and growth, and offering support to the director regarding staff development and discipline. Staff member will also handle administrative tasks which include but are not limited to: timely completion of expense vouchers, scheduling of their conference travel, and correspondence with local, state, and national FFA staff. The coorindator is required to participate in 3 mandatory weeks of training (1 week in spring, at least 1 week in May in Indianapolis, and 1 week in May on site in DC). Must constantly work to improve the program and themselves as a trainer and leader. Coordinator is required to be certified in First Aid/CPR once hired. Staff member is also required to participate in a spring conference training.

Mandatory Training Dates: March 7-15, 2020 and May 17-June 1, 2020

Conference Dates: June 2, 2020 thru July 29, 2020

Conference Location: Washington, D.C.

Compensation: $735 for training, and averages $985 for working weeks

  • Must be able to use Microsoft, Adobe, Apple, and Final Cut Pro programs.
  • Must have personal access to, and be able to use, a computer or laptop.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    Position Requirements


    • High school diploma, some college or Bachelor’s degree.


    • Either one or more years experience as a National FFA conference facilitator, or in agricultural education.
