Tuknik Government Services is seeking a Receptionist/General Clerk II to work with our Federal client in the Harper’s Ferry, WV area. This is a direct, full time position supporting TGS and our government client.

The Contractor shall provide administrative services in support of the activities and mission of the Harpers Ferry Center Complex and other National Park Service entities located in Harpers Ferry, WV area. Services include mail management services, main lobby receptionist services both at the Interpretive Design Center, 67 Mather Place, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425 and at the Center’s GSA lease building known as Willow Springs, 31 Maple Tree Drive, Charles Town, WV 25414. The two groups supported at Willow Springs are Museum Conservation Services and Collections.

The receptionist desk at HAFC’s Willow Springs operates from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, except holidays for the purpose of greeting, screening, registering, directing visitors and checking identification to help ensure building security and performs clerical assistance.

  • Answer and transfer calls. Greet and sign in visitors: maintain the visitor and volunteer logs. Takes messages for Facilities, Services and Property (FSP) office. Assist with questions of a non-technical nature.
  • Perform a variety of filing tasks such as organizing files, purging files, labeling files, filing materials, and shredding files.
  • Receives routine maintenance calls and inform FSP.
  • Provides data entry and reports.
  • Takes reservation for GSA motor pool vehicles, assigns vehicles, and prepares associated paperwork and reports.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras to identify any suspicious activities and concerns, which will be immediately reported by calling 911, Homeland Security Dispatch, known as the Mega Center at (800) 525-5726 and (304) 539-7347, the National Park Service’s Dispatch known as National Capital Region Communications Center (NCR) at (866) 677-6677 or non-emergency number (301) 714.2235.
  • Asset Management, shipping, receiving, control, pickup, delivery, courier services, warehousing, storage, general office supplies, records and file management. Clerical services, motor pool management, risk and safety management, workplace and facilities management, and security access.

  • 2 years of related work experience
